"first-chance exception at" in Visual Studio 2005 debugger

Hi Experts,

I have a web page made on visual studio 2005 that call a Crystal Reports.

Until recently, it worked OK when I debug the application. But now, when I debug the application into Visual Studio, an window error is shown with as below:

Crytal-Reports-Error-1.JPG
This error occurs exactly when the application tries to create a new instance of "Report_RPT.vb".

What I need to do to fix this error?

Hi Ronak,

Thanks for your reply.

But the two links you indicated explain why that the exception occurs, not a way to stop it.

If I press the "Continue" button on the first error window that I showed in the first post, the Visual Studio 2005 debugger shows three other error windows, as follows:
Crytal-Reports-Error-2.JPGIf I press "Continue" always, the Crystal Reports viewer is open with the correct content. But, you must admit that it is not a good idea do this every time that I test the report.

I need help to stop the incidence of these exception errors. Could you help me, please?

Hi mimcc,

Thanks for your reply.

In the last two months I made the following updates on my Windows 7 (My Windows 7 is in Portuguese. So, the date installed column is in the format dd/mm/yyyy):
Crytal-Reports-Error-3.JPGAs you can see, they were only security updates, nothing so deep.

For professional reasons, I have the Visual Studio 2005, 2010 and 2013 installed on my laptop. In these last two months I did not execute any updates on them.

Unless this started around the end of April, it probably isn't an update.

Have you installed any new software that could have changed a setting?

Hi mlmcc,

I apologize for the delay in my reply, but I've been sick for the last few days.

No. I did not install any new software in the last two months.
