"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This may be beyond the capability of a macro.  You need to create an instance of a custom Outlook form.  If it is saved as an .oft file, this code will do it:

      strCustomForm = strTemplatesPath & "Access Task Email.oft"
      Set fld = nms.GetDefaultFolder(olFolderDrafts)
      Set msg = appOutlook.CreateItemFromTemplate(strCustomForm, fld)

Open in new window

where fld is an Outlook folder variable and msg is the message you are creating from the template.

This code is from my Working with Outlook ebook.
