Linked in and Saved search results

I performed a saved search the other day and got about 70 hits.  On the saved search I specified daily alerts.  So far I have gotten no alerts sent to my gmail account

Do the alerts go to the my gmail acct, my LinkedIn mail, or other

Seeing that I had about 70 hits on the original search, should I have had a couple emails by now?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Be sure you check your spam folder in your inbox, they might be landing in there.

Also, double check the frequency you set the alerts to send to you are immediate:
Log in to LinkedIn
Click the Communications tab next to the envelope icon on the left.
Click Set the frequency of emails.
Click Messages from LinkedIn and choose the frequency.
Click Save changes.

Keep in mind that all LinkedIn members get 3 saved searches (you have to upgrade your membership to receive more).
