signature pad, how to keep container form moving when writing signature

signature pad uses finger to write  signature. but signature pad moves in mobile web page.
using jQuery
#container1 is DIV id

how to I stop a page form moving at all?

I am making a mobile web page,  HTML5,    Jquery.  CSS
maybe I need different signature code?

I've tested and it stops the page moving if there are touch events over the canvas

Bob, Not bad, yes stops moving screen. But draws straight lines across screen when you touch instrad of following finger...
Will try on other phones and look at code.

Still looking for solution.

Only one real problem with this one. On Iphones if you try to sign in 2 words, the first word disappears....
else this will work good enough.
any other sigpads or ideas?

Iphones a big problem for everyone with this code.
  Iphones if you try to sign with  2 names first and last , the first word disappears....

I need another solution.

This looks better but i can only test on Android and Windows touch devices, which is does work on.

Which signature pad are you using?  I have used the that Rob pointed out in a couple of projects specifically for ipad and iphone.  My implementation was several years ago and so far so good.  I did modify a bit by encrypting the signature code.
