eM Client

My OS is win 7 prof 64 bit and I use em Client, the free version, and have setup my msn email (the free version) account.  i am able to receive the emails without a prolem, but it fails to send out the emails, and it sits in the outbox even when I do a send or Send and Receive command.  Can the experts please suggest how to fix this problem.  Thank u.

Did you set the msn account as Outlook type and choose automatically setup?

in response to matrix8086, I think I just did and I also was following the instructions from a web site on my 2nd monitor.

It could be the firewall which is blocking the SMTP port, or some antivirus or other rule which is blocking the TLS/SSL certificate to be used/installed.

Also you can try to set manually the SMTP port to 25 from eM client

Any client could communicate with outlook.com SMTP servers on port 587 (or 25 as alternative) but only encrypted

can u pse give me the steps on how to manually set the stmp ports and other details in eMclient.   I do not see anything under Tools, Accounts.  Thank u.

Tools -> Accounts clickthe account, click on the right window the SMTP TAB
