The Corel Draw system specs say Windows 8.1 and by and large any machine would have the remaining specs.  It does specify the resolution and might not run on my machine (too small a screen).

Try setting up a new, test, Windows User Profile (Account). Log into the new account and test in the new account.
You could try creating a shortcut to CorelDraw and go into properties->compatibility tab. Set Compatibility Mode to an earlier version of windows.
I remember having similar problems with Windows 8.1 before I went back to Windows 7. From memory CorelDraw 7 would also crash when I tried saving a file and I tried to browse to a different folder. It would work if I saved it in the default folder.

And it crashed in a new Windows User Account as well?

According to this Corel Support article, there is a bug that Corel is aware of and working on.

Tried that, still crashes...
Corel Draw 7 is a very old version. Corel won't be sorting any more bugs in it.
You may need to run it in a VM - I like VirtualBox.
Please note that there might be room for misunderstanding. Is it really version 7? Or (the newest) X7?
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
@Carlos Marin  - Corel Draw X7 is new - what version are you using ?
Carlos MarinManagerAuthor Commented:
X7- I reloaded  WINDOWS and it is working fine now - thanks !!!
