How to get list of users using internet through rotuer

i have cisco 2811 router in which i have dhcp pool 192.168.48.0 and another access list of 192.168.9.0.  DHCP users have some restrictions on access internet like youtube and social sites block but  192.168.9.0 series dont have any restrictions . Now i want to know how many users using 192.168.48.0 series and how many pc using 192.168.9.0 series. So i know that unwanted user who have 192.168.9.0 ip . #sh ip dhcp binding
will show you DHCP bindings between MAC addresses and IP address

#sh mac-address-table dynamic
will show you all currently active MAC addresses per VLAN
so if there is a difference in number between number of records of DHCP clients and clients in CAM table. Those are statically assigned addresses on hosts.

On this router you have just one IP DHCP range configured and you'll see just dynamic bindings for 192.168.48.0 network anyway.

But, what you probably actually need is some network monitoring software. There are free available like Nagios, Cacti etc...

The best way to prospectively get this information is to setup a proxy server and then use wccp to forward web request. Mthe provlem these days though is that most sites are secure which lands itself to difficulty with the above.

Your best/only way to get information is to have a user based GPO login that the user reports/record their IP date, it could be recorded in a flat file or into a database.

Does your IP allocation/access uses 802.1x to authorize systems to switches and vlans?

#sh mac-address-table dynamic command should be issued on switch.
:)
For Windows - you can use PRTG, in free version number of sensors you can use is reduced to 100 - link, but that should be more than enough for what you asked for.
Solarwinds have some free program versions, but I never tried those - link.
And currently GNS3 users have free tools from Solarwind Toolset - it is free for bussiness purposes.
