Reducing an Acrobat PDF file using VBA

I have a process that opens an acrobat file - inserts a watermark and saves the file.

On occasion the File is too big to send by email and I manually go to File>Save As Other>Reduced Size PDF and it goes through a process that shrinks the file size

I would like to modify the function so that it reduces the file size automatically each time it saves

Searched the Acrobat SDK API References online but no luck - does anybody have an idea?

Attached is the info related to my watermark process

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I'm afraid nobody knows.
Therefore my only solution is to have another layer after it. And that's PDFCreator. It's not really reducing automatically, it's more like setting up a fixed DPI (which you tested before, as being always a smaller size). After you know this settings and fix it, have the code print the PDF again through PDFCreator, and the file will most definitely be smaller.
