Hyper-V: Error during copy: The specified network name is no longer available

Hi guys,

We have a server which we are using to P2V some servers. We're trying to P2V one particular server. We are getting the error attached.

We used the actual Disk2VHD tool sitting on the source server and then get the error attached. The server being P2V'd is a Windows Server 2003 R2 machine.

Cheers

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I assume you are copy the created VM to a network location; I suggest you create it to local drive first and then use robocopy with the /zb switch/option to copy it to your network location
