web service code for SSRS

I am trying to use the webservice code from this page for vb.net

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa258537(v=sql.80).aspx

but it doesn't seem to know what ExtensionTypeEnum.Data is (see screenshot)

Any reason why?

I wear a lot of hats...

Do you see the little red rectangle under the "m" in "ExtensionTypeEnum":

That is Visual Studio prompting you that you have some options for having the IDE correct the error. Put your cursor on the text of "ExtensionTypeEnum" and single-click it. The caret should now be blinking somewhere on that bit of text. Now push the Control key on your keyboard, followed by the period (while holding down Control). You should get a popup window that offers correction suggestions. Do you have anything that offers to import a namespace? If so, then you need to import that namespace. If you click on the suggestion, Visual Studio should add the namespace to your file automatically. Otherwise, it would be that you are missing a library reference, and you would need to add this missing library reference to your project.

Open your "Add Reference" dialog. Do you have an assembly named "ReportExecution2005" listed? If so, add a reference to it.

käµfm³d,

hmm now i am not seeing it... could you give me a screenshot?  Maybe i am looking in the wrong spot.
vbnetcoderAuthor Commented:
I do think i have to add a reference to something just not sure where and what
käµfm³d 👽Commented:
Not seeing what? The "Add Reference" window, or the assembly in the list?
vbnetcoderAuthor Commented:
The assembly in the list ... does it make a difference that my sql server database is 2012?

I was going by what I found in that type's documentation:

There appears to be another assembly with that type. Do you see ReportService2006?
vbnetcoderAuthor Commented:
I think i may have fixed it ... i was adding are web reference to reportservice2010 but it works when i use 2005.  Question is should i be using 2005 since it is older?
käµfm³d 👽Commented:
I'd guess that reportservice2010 may have some additional features. If 2005 generates the report, then I should think that you'd be fine with that.
