suggestions for best tab control to use in asp.net mvc 5

Hi all,

i am planning to use a tab control in asp.net mvc 5 web application. I like the style of MS onenote. Though i  do not need the book feature. I like the vertical tabs and the pages on the right. Can any one point me to creating that kind of tabs. Also i would like to apply different colors to tabs indicating the priority and severity of tab contents. I also dont mind to buy any products to use them if that saves time. Hoping for reasonable price though.

Each tab contains information about each module i have in application. Different features under each module should be available as part of pages on the right for each tab.

Thanks.

Two commercial alternatives:
1)  Infragistics tab
http://www.infragistics.com/samples/aspnet/tab/overview
2) Telerik tabstrip
http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-mvc/tabstrip/tab-position
From memory they do not offer change individual tab colours, but you can do it yourself using CSS to override the default background color.

Thank you. I will look into them. Can you also guide me to do it on my own ?

Certainly,  let me know on which specific area help is required and what technologies you are using to build  the page (MVC 5?)
Have a look at the samples on the link first.
Note: I used Infragistics before ( I may be biased towards it), but the decision depends on budget.

Miguel Oz, I looked into them. The pricing is beyond me. I am using MVC 5. You can suggest me the best technologies to achieve this. Till now I though about HTML5 and CSS3. Thank you.

You could use Jquery UI tabs.
An example (vertical tabs on the right) on how to use CSS to modify the default offering is shown here.
