Export TFS project from visual studio 2013 to standalone instance of visual studio

I have a project that is version controlled in Visual Studio 2013 under team foundation server.  I need to move it to a visual studio 2013 IDE instance that is not connected to the team foundation server.  However, when I copy between the instances (by just copying the source folder) I get all sorts of errors that seem related to references between classes in the project folders.

Any help on exporting a stand-alone project?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
