outlook express on xp ..

I had to reload xp and now the spell check in outlook express doesn't work. Everything I have read says ms office 2007 has spell check but in outlook express it only finds french. Apparently 2007 has a different method of dictionaries then ms office 2003 and earlier. I no longer have MS 2003 and no MS 2007. can anyone help wil a work around?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This page https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/932974 says you're right, that's exactly what happens.  Their suggestion is to use Windows Live Mail...  A Google search lists some third-party spell check programs for Outlook Express.
