I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The second issue is likely because you are using a self-signed SSL certificate for the web mail server.   See http://kb.kerio.com/1132 for instructions and guidance.  Small shops usually just import the self-signed certificate to the client machines, larger organizations may opt for purchasing a commercial ticket.

As for why e-mails are landing in the recipient's spam folder, there are many reasons why their mail server could have considered your message as spam.  You will need to coordinate with the admin of that mail server to find out, or at the very least, ask them to whitelist your domain.  Some things to look at on your end:

make sure your IP address is not in a range considered "dynamic"
Create an SPF record for your domain
Make sure there is reverse DNS set up for your server's external IP address, and that the host name is the same as the one used by Kerio in the SMTP greeting.
