Internet Explorer error

Hi Experts,

I am using Internet Explorer 11, and a user is logging into a web portal, but upon logging in, they are receiving an error which reads:

"Cannot perform transformation of XML.

'XSLTProcessor' is undefined"

then where there should be a navigation menu, it simply says 'false'

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Did you create the code for the web portal?
The reason if(window.ActiveXObject) fails in IE11 may be because  the Boolean Data value window.ActiveXObject has become false.

I did not create the code, and I don't understand coding behind a website, but if the same person logs in on another machine, it works fine. So there is nothing wrong with the site. Problem stays with the machine.

Does that other machine also use IE11?

The problem is one with javascript.

This was an Internet Explorer 'compatibility mode' issue. But thank you for getting back to me jcimarron

This turned out to be an internet explorer compatibility mode issue, due to an older version of IE running the page.
