Windows 2012 HyperV Guests - HP tools installation required?

Hi, I've just built a HP Proliant DL380 G9 and installed HyperV on it (OS Windows Server 2012 R2)
I have configured this host with the latest Proliant Support Pack including HP insight diagnostics, SMH etc.
It is also configured to send traps back to a HP SIM server on the network.
This is the first time I've played with Virtual technology, please can you advise if I need to set up any of the HP tools prev mentioned  on the Guest operating systems which are all Windows Server 2012 R2. Would I also need to discovery these VM Guests in my HP SIM or is there no point as hardware issue would all come under the HOST
Hope that made sense
regards
Rick

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Only the host should get the hardware monitoring and management tools. The VMs will not have the same kind of access to the physical hardware as they are running over a "hypervisor" layer that juggles physical resources on their behalf.

Keep the tools on the host.
