How to import latest product revision in AX 2012 R3 using DIEF
We are testing the DIEF import for our products into AX 2012 R3 and we have successfully imported nearly all of the fields that we need except for the revision number.
We currently have products with revision number 3 or 7 for example and we need to import this with the rest of the product info. Any ideas?

Hi Damon,
It is the Item Revision Number (identification of item revision) from the InventTable: (InventTable).ELEStandardI temRevisio nId
We would like to have the current revision when we import all of our products. If I use this field on the import staging table, it leaves it blank when the product is created.
Thank you !

Ok it seems to be wrong mapping
Is the mapping visible in the 'Target entities' form pushing the button "Modify target mapping"?

yes, but because it didn't exist in the staging table we just added it, so maybe it is not connecting to the target properly?

It worked, thank you !!! I linked the Field that I added to my staging table to the target and that worked without having to create another processing group. :)
Great :)
can you confirm a few things, revision number is this a custom field?
Under the import it's a revision number inserted /updated and should be set (increased?) then the product is updated in the future?
