Shortcuts in User Profiles on Server 2012

Good afternoon,

I can no longer see all/or any of the user’s shortcuts on their desktop in User Profiles on my 2012 server. Example attached. The example show my shortcuts on my desktop in my profile on this server but when you look in my profile desktop directory, they are not all there. Some of them are, but not all of them. On most of my users, I can’t see any shortcuts at all in their user profile but when they log in through Remote Desktop, they are there. Any ideas?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
