Is the godaddy hosted office 365 exchange the same as Microsofts?

We are thinking of dumping our godaddy pop accounts due to the endless issues and godaddy consonantly blaming others.  I can have two machines with the exact same issue, one in a different location and they will blame ISP or blame the OS when one machine is a MAC and the other a PC.  Had enough.

Godaddy talked us into switching one machine to their branded MS hosted exchange and still have some issues.

So ... are the godaddy office 365 hosted exchange and the MS hosted exchange identical products?  If so, where to next...

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

As far as I am aware, they are the same service, GoDaddy effectively reselling the service.
You could leave the domain with GoDaddy and switch everything over to Office365 directly. I have done that for a couple of clients so there isn't the additional layer.

I am curious if that extra layer is causing connectivity issues. This user has them on phone at&t, at home (gctv) and at office TimeWarner.  So it is either user or provider.  I just wonder if the godaddy layer could cause what in effect are syncing issues.

Microsoft and GoDaddy partnered up to sell the Office365 service,   it doesn't matter who is hosting your DNS with office365 the ability adjust your domain settings is built into the program.   I however highly recommend that before you make a move to office365 you talk to a VAR like myself that can walk you thru the steps required.   It can be daunting an you want to make sure that you get the most bang for your buck

The additional layer I was referring to was from a support/accountability.
I don't believe that GoDaddy have anything different for connectivity. Considering the two services are completely separate and you have having problems, that would suggest the issue is closer to home, perhaps something identical across the two services. Office365 connectivity has been very reliable in my experience.

Thanks, I was hoping that layer was in connectivity.  I am a bit concerned that changing, although cheaper, will not fix our issuses.

SImon.  I would agree it is closer to home, except I am having the same issue across platforms and ISPs...the only other option is user and she swears to only by doing email....
