"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

if your company have WIFI devices like printers and you need to connect it to the wifi forever you can create ssid profile for that never need to change password
otherwise you have guest to the company need to access your network for only one time you can Create SSId profile for Guest change this SSID password every week for example etc

As others say, multiple SSID capability has many uses.  To name a few:

1] To separate network segments
2] To separate frequency bands
3] To advertise different radio capabilities
4] To allow different security requirements
5] To differentiate different networks

However, depending on the complexity of the WLAN and the capabilities of the kit you could do a lot of that with a single SSID.  For example, if you were to use 2 SSIDs to allow access to one VLAN or another, you could dynamically assign the VLAN ID via RADIUS using one SSID, depending on things like the user's security group in AD, or by type of device connecting, etc.
