Has anyone tested Windows 10 with Apache and MySQL?

I currently have two laptops running Windows 7 64-bit. I use these machines for PHP software development through XAMPP (or WAMP for some other people).

Today, both my laptops had a Windows icon on the taskbar inviting me to reserve a Windows 10 upgrade for free.

I am hoping some Windows 10 beta-tester who uses Apache and MySQL in their system could tell me about any compatibility issues? An OS upgrade is such a drastic change, I will be devastated if my development environment becomes unviable if I upgraded.

Any beta testers of Windows 10 out there who runs Apache and MySQL on their machine who can provide feedback?

Thanks.

I have Windows 10 running in a virtual machine (newest build, Office 2016 and other stuff). Seems to work fine.

May I suggest you get a copy (register at the Windows 10 site) and install it in VMware Player and see if it runs your stuff. Free to do this.

When you guys installed Windows 10, were you able to save the entire Windows 10 install file on your hard drive? Microsoft is offering Windows 10 for free for a year, but what if my PC crashes after that time, and I don't have the files I installed Windows 10 with, I'd have to buy Windows 10.
