comment dialog

Id like to build a comment area much like they use in this site with a title and an area to type the details. I like the size of this comment box and also with a place holder feature.
Can a css expert provide some details how to build this simple comment dialog.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you're referring to the area where you type your comment then EE uses ckeditor

It's not as simple as just typing in CSS there is a bit of javascript as well.

Have you had a look at the JQueryUI library - specifically the Dialog functionality?

That coupled with Rob's comment about the ckeditor (or alternatively tiny can give you a dialog with HTML editor functionality.

If you only want a comment box (no HTML elements) then this JQueryUI sample might be useful

ckEditor may be the ultimate tool.  All I need is a decent look to post comments.  Also the dialog box when asking /posting question here  will also be possible.

Basically,how is chkeditor implemented?)
zachvaldezAuthor Commented:
I like the link with bootstrap.
However, I would the comment dialog to be save and displayed but no longer available for edit. A new dialog would be available for edit much similar to this site.
RobOwner (Aidellio)Commented:
ckeditor just uses a textarea.  There's a javascript library and css library that you get from ckeditor that formats the layout and actions.

once the editor has finished you insert an html element like <div> with the content and reset the comment box or disable it, up to you.

I downloaded to see how to use it.
first, how would I put that on a page

Sweet and simple. Long term solution would be chkeditor but requires purchasing.
