Meeting Room Decline Message

When our customer creates a meeting request, without checking room availability, and gets a decline notice due to the meeting room being busy, they go to their calendar and open the meeting request and expect the location to be blank. When the meeting room declines the request does it also clear the location detail for the meeting. As I remember the location will still point to the meeting room that was busy, and you have to manually delete the location and pick another meeting room. Can you verify how exchange and outlook 2010 handles this?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It does not clear the meeting room from the original meeting request. However it does not book the meeting to the resource.

As per my knowledge, this problem is occur, when user use Outlook 2010 to configure the resource mailbox for direct booking, and manually set the Calendar folder’s permissions by clicking Set Permissions in the Resource Scheduling dialog box.
