SonicWALL Failover & Load Balacing defaults

Hi, I have a quick question regarding SonicWALL defaults on Failove and Load Balancing. We recently acquired a client with a SonicWALL NSA 2600 and I noticed that under the  Network > Failover & LB menu that "Enable Load Balancing" is checked with a Basic Failover group specified. They only have one internet provider and should not be using load balancing or failover. Is this something enabled by default and should it be enabled at all if they only have one internet provider? Will this cause problems if failover is enabled with only one internet provider?

Thank you

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It simply will not perform load balancing or failover if you don't have a second ISP plugged in.

I would recommend disabling it if you do not intend to get a backup line, however it shouldn't affect anything by leaving it enabled.

I would uncheck "load balancing". No point in having something enabled when they don't have the resources to enable it to work.
