Windows 2012 r2 unable to access smb in rhel 6

my windows server 2012  r2 is unable to access my smb share in rhel 6.

My SMB share is working because I can access it from everywhere but my windows 2012 r2... I had tested with 3 different servers that I have in my environment.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

2012 R2 makes SMB 1.x support optional and since Vista and higher all support SMB 2.0 or higher, you can often see no issues with having SMB 1.x disabled until clients that don't support SMB 2.0 or greater are used.  This can include older scanners, printers, and older versions of RHEL.  SMB2 wasn't added to RHEL until v6.3 or 6.4 as I recall and still requires added configuration to enable.

So you can make sure you running and have configured SMBv2 on your RHEL server, or you can enable SMBv1 on your 2012 R2 servers. That's where I'd start investigating either way.
