C# code: Write or Set a custom value to property of a file

Hello Experts,

In my project a file (can be anything like image, stylesheet, excel, pdf, word doc) has to be uploaded to different server. And I could able to successfully upload the file to the server. No issues here.

Now, I need to store the name of the user who is uploading the file to the server in one of the properties of that file. So that I can retrieve this information whenever I require next time.

Thus would like someone to suggest C# code to write a custom value as one of the properties of a file?

Please let me know if any details required.

Thanks,
Shah
