Getting alerts from a site

I frequent this website and they don't offer anything for getting email alerts (like Ebay or Kijiji) based on keywords.

Is there anything out there that I can use to search the site and be alerted on keywords I'm, looking for?

I tried Google Alerts but that does not seem to work.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you google alert when webpage changes, you will find that there are many tools that do this ― most require a paid subscription.

The link you have provided are for content monitoring from what I can tell. I want to be alerted on specific keywords.

For example I want to be alerted if the auction site has any listing for Dell computers. So I want to setup an alert if a Dell computer is posted up for auction.

I have searched on Google and so far have not found anything that does this

I see. Well I found this free* tool: WatchThatPage

*Professional and heavy users are requested to pay a fee. See terms & conditions

WatchThatPage gives you several options for how you want to monitor the Internet. You can get all the new content collected in one email, or separated into several emails, i.e. to sort the information on different topics or importance. You can receive all changes, or just changes that match keywords you specify. You can get daily updates, or customize the updates to the weekdays of your choice. If you want, we can keep the emails short and only tell you which pages did change, and leave it up to you to visit the pages yourself and find the changes. We can inform you about pages that are unreachable.

Tried WatchThatPage and so far not proven to work at all.

The interface is the most difficult to figure compares to anything I have worked with in the last 15 years.

Haven't found anything that works. WatchThatPage is useless with a really bad interface
