error in joining a computer to a domain

When Im trying to join a computer to a domain it shows network path not found how to resolve this error

Restart the computer (shut it down and start up) and go the advanced system settings where you change from WORKGROUP to DOMAIN.  Enter your domain and make sure it is correctly entered. Make sure you are an administrator when you do this.

Now what specific error do you get?
Sounds like PC may have wrong network information(old setting from another network).  Log into PC as local admin and change networking to DHCP.  Then try to join to domain.
This happened to us when we moved into a new building.

Make sure your computer in Domain subnet
Make sure server pingable
Make sure your first DNS on your computer is server IP
