The reason i'm looking to do this is because the college I work at uses a proxy for Internet access. Apple TV does not allow wireless connectivity through a proxy, and I have been informed that apple configurator needs to be setup with wireless proxy settings and linked to apple tv.

Can an AppleTV be connected to a MacBook or Macmini ? and an apple configurator profile setup on the macmini / MacBook be imported into the apple tv ? <br />

I assume if this can be done, that the macmini / MacBook can then be removed and the apple tv doesn't need to be connected to either of these ?
