quick dfs question

I have a 2008 R2 file server with the following unc share locations:

I want to add DFS Namespaces. Should I create a dfs namespace for each share?

I think it would look like this:

And my current NTFS permissions would remain, correct?

You would typically setup a namespace root folder - such as \\Domain.local\root - Then you can add the folders under that with the necessary targets to the DFS locations.

                L Users (Contains target to folder \\FS\Users plus any other target)
                L HR (As above)

Shared folders are then shared as \\domain.local\root\Users

You can replace the word root in this example with any name....
