How to use Visio 2013 Viewer

Hi,

I have a Visio 2013 file that needs to open. Since I don't have full version of Visio 2013 installed I downloaded Visio 2013 viewer instead. Somehow, the Visio file can not associate to Viewer and it still trys to open through Adobe Reader.

How to use Visio 2013 Viewer?

Thank you in advance for all of your help!

Selet the file, while highlited hold cdown the shift key and right click to use open with option.
Then look at the open other programs and select the viewer, alternatively, open the visio viewer and from it open the file you want.

I selected Other Program from Open With, Browse the c:\Program Files I don't see there is a Visio viewer there. The OS is win7 , 64bit. Under the Program and Features the Visio Viewer 2013 installed.

see whether the visio viewer is in c:\program files (x86)\

start the program directly from start\all programs\visio... or use the desktop shortcut if one was created or the quick launch ...
then once the application is open, use the file open to open the document you want.

Once it runs, it will be listed in the other programs.

It works between 32 bit viewer instead of 64 bit viewer (we are using office 2010) and reboot! Thanks a lot for your help!
