Json in MVC Asp.Net

Hello Experts,

Trying my hands on MVC, so please be patient :)

On my cshtml
<script>

    $('#formBuilder').formBuilder({

        load_url: '/Content/src/json/example.json',
        save_url: 'save',   //This calls my controller

        onSaveForm: function () {
            // redirect to demo page
            //window.location.href = 'demo/render.php';
        }

    });

    </script>

 public class HomeController : Controller
    {

 [HttpPost]
        public void save(string input)
        {
string jsonData = new System.IO.StreamReader(Request.InputStream).ReadToEnd().ToString();
/*I get the json data posted but it is in below format
formData=%7B%22title%22%3A%22My+Form%22%2C%22description%22%3A%22This+is+my+form.+Please+fill+it+out.+It's+awesome!%22%2C%22fields%22%3A%5B%7B%22title%22%3A%22First+Name%22%2C%22type%22%3A%22element-single-line-text%22%2C%22required%22%3Atrue%2C%22position%22%3A1%7D%2C%7B%22title%22%3A%22Last+Name%22%2C%22type%22%3A%22element-single-line-text%22%2C%22required%22%3Atrue%2C%22position%22%3A2%7D%2C%7B%22title%22%3A%22Email%22%2C%22type%22%3A%22element-single-line-text%22%2C%22required%22%3Atrue%2C%22position%22%3A3%7D%5D%7D
*/
            string data = Json(new System.IO.StreamReader(Request.InputStream).ReadToEnd().ToString(), JsonRequestBehavior.AllowGet).ToString();
//data just gives     "System.Web.Mvc.JsonResult"
        }
    }

I want to store the json in my database and later load the form using it.
How would I get the pure json here. Thanks in advance.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

You may try :

Uri.UnescapeDataString(formData);

Another possibility is to use HttpUtility.UrlDecode(json).
