Exchange 2010 - Get error when attempting to Remove a DL

I'm trying to Remove or Disable a DL but receive an error:

Error:
Active Directory operation failed on Domain Controller.com. This error is not retriable. Additional information: Access is denied.
Active directory response: 00000005: SecErr: DSID-0315202A, problem 4003 (INSUFF_ACCESS_RIGHTS), data 0


The user has insufficient access rights.

Is this an Exchange 2010 distribution list, or is it an AD security group that is mail-enabled?  And what version (build number) of Exchange are you using?
Open dsa.msc or AD snap-in. Search this DL, goto security tab>Advance and select inheritable permission check box and apply. Wait for AD replication and then remove the DL.
