well the command ran with no errors but the device (testactivesync) still shows...

That "§" symbol used to fill the space.

Is the user is located in the OU you are mentioned in the command?

looks like the path isnt valid anymore. one of the site names in AD was changed.
there must be a way to remove this?

Other option is from EMC. However you mentioned that you are getting error.

So its showing the test device in EMC, but cant remove.
There is also an ipad listed (correctly) and running:
Get-ActiveSyncDevice –Mailbox “UserName” |Format-List DeviceId, DeviceType, DeviceModel, DeviceOS, FriendlyName, Name
shows the ipad only, not the test device.

can this be edited/removed in AD using ADSIEDIT?
