exchange command to remove activesync device?

getting an error in the console.

what's the simple correct command to remove the test device from mailbox?

to add, the identity of the device looks wrong which i guess is why its failing..

can this be edited/removed in AD using ADSIEDIT?

thought i tried that, so just retried and its failing..

Remove-ActiveSyncDevice -Identity deviceid ******
&
Remove-ActiveSyncDevice -Identity ******

well the command ran with no errors but the device (testactivesync) still shows...

any ideas what § is?

Hi,

That "§" symbol used to fill the space.

You just copy paste into the command.

that's the same command that the console runs and fails..

Please post the error..

Is the user is located in the OU you are mentioned in the command?

looks like the path isnt valid anymore. one of the site names in AD was changed.
there must be a way to remove this?

Other option is from EMC. However you mentioned that you are getting error.

Please share the error you are getting.

So its showing the test device in EMC, but cant remove.
There is also an ipad listed (correctly) and running:
Get-ActiveSyncDevice –Mailbox “UserName” |Format-List DeviceId, DeviceType, DeviceModel, DeviceOS, FriendlyName, Name

shows the ipad only, not the test device.

couldnt remove it for some reason...
