SCOM - Alert: Logical disk transfer (reads and writes) latency is too high

Hi,

We are getting alot of alerts through from SCOM for:

Alert: Logical disk transfer (reads and writes) latency  is too high

Now I know why we are getting these come through, due to DPM backing the servers up every night.

Is there a way to turn off or pause these alerts during the night in SCOM?

Hello,

With SCOM you cannot handle that one specific monitor or rule generates an alert depending on the time with its standard configuration. However, you can override it and adjust it to the values that are normal during your backup operations. In this case you will not receive such alerts, however, dairy alerts within that range are going to be omitted during the day.
