you can copy A1 to A3 range then right click on B1 and click Paste Special then tick mark the box &quot;Transpose&quot; then it will do the job.

HI - I need to be able to drag a formula DOWN a column and have the formula increment the COLUMN reference but freeze the ROW reference.<br />

So the formula in A1 reads =B1<br />
I need A2 to be =C1<br />
I need A3 to be =D1<br />
<br />
etc.<br />

I should know how to do this but it is escaping me...<br />
