Remote Exchange Management Console

I am using the EMC from my desk machine connecting to my Exchange 2007 server.  However, changes made on the Exchange server (e.g. new mailbox, distro changes) are not being replicated back to my remote instance of EMC on my desk.  Thoughts?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Make sure that the version (or build version) matches the version of Exchange installed on the servers. So, make sure the service pack matches and apply any rollup updates as well on your client.

Refreshing the display, is also required sometimes, to pick up any changes, although it depends on which DC you are attached to, so replication delays may also need to be taken into consideration.

You EMC might just need to be refreshed or you are connected to another DC and there is a replicaiton delay or replication issues, which is why you might not be seeing the changes.

Try hitting F5 in the console to refresh the screen. If you are not in the same AD site these changes can take time to replicate based on your Inter-Site Replication interval.
