WSUS on Server 2012 Core? Recommended disk space?

I was wondering if it would be a good idea when setting up a new, single WSUS server, to run on 2012 server core? I imagine it could be managed with a GUI console remotely, right?

Also, what would the amount of disk space recommended be? 150GB? Single partition or 2 partitions?

WSUS is now supported on core. Amount of disk required depends on how many products you have in your environment. My older WSUS has about 250 GB disk used for just updates not including the OS, but it has updates for every version of Windows Professional, Server and Office since XP/2003, plus SQL and some Exchange. If you are running in a VM, you can always expand the disk.

Ok I figure I can start with 40GB on OS partition, 100GB on WSUS Content partition, then just expand disk space as needed in the VM?

Nice thing about VMs is that you can expand them when necessary.
