Processor Masking in Hyper-V

I recently moved a Hyper-V machine from one server to the other. This was the first time I had ever had occasion /reason to move this machine (upgrading the host OS). The VM itself moved just fine and all appeared well until an end user could not access the machine's hosted application. Long story short, the company that made the program bound their licensing to the processor ID. When I moved the VM from server1 to server2, the ID changed and the licensing software kept the application from working. They changed the ID and got me back up, but told me I should ensure "Processor Masking" is enabled on this VM. I can find references to that in the VMware world, but not in Hyper-V. Is there an equivalent setting that I could have used to prevent this from happening?  Thanks!

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I don't believe Hyper-V has this capability, but I'll watch this too to see if anyone else sees different. Had never looked at this problem before.
