AGK (App Game Kit) to work with Window's Visual Studio 2013 (Community, C++)

I have AGK downloaded from this site:

I got the free trial version to work with VS2010, but having trouble to work with Visual Studio 2013. If you experts think it's possible, please show me an example. An VS2013/AGK template is appreciated.

Or  Is it possible to use Version 2 (AGK2) to work with VS2013?  I would order it AGK2 work with Visual Studio 2013.

This should work.  I just tried it with VSC2013 and the trial package of AGK
The default path to the VS templates in the trial is
C:\Program Files (x86)\The Game Creators\AGKTrial\IDE\templates
If you open the VS10 folder in VSC and then open the template.cpp VSC should automatically update the template folder to the latest version.  You can then open the project.

I put together a very quick "Hello World" using this as below
hellow world!
The main issue AFAICS is that the AGK drops the templates into windows reserved locations so you use the defaults you'll have to launch VSC with elevated admin rights - but you could copy the template folder to an alternate location and not get any permissions errors.

MASQ, thanks. I did open the template.cpp and then open the project. I can compile the template.cpp successfully, but can not Link .. it give a message:

fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'atlsd.lib'

Any clue how to resolve this?

That's because the atl libraries are no longer included in VS 2013
You can grab them from the WDK though
