CSS help needed with header layout

Hey guys,
Please visit www.prowodev.com/links/op.html. Take a look at the header, then take a look at these two screenshot images. One image shows the desired layout (link), and the other shows the problem I'm experiencing (link). I tried to add CSS to achieve the desired result, but it only works on larger, wider screens. Can you please help me adjust the css so that it works on smaller, narrower screens as well? Thanks in advance!

to make it responsive you need to change the widths / margins to percentages as shown below.

I suggest you also use @media screen AND (max-width: XXXpx) queries to change these percentages based on the layout of the user's screen.  Failing that, have a look at bootstrap (getbootstrap.com) as it does all this for you with simple CSS classes.

.views-field-field-left-button-line-1 {
  float: left;
  background: #e94149;
  width: 40%;
  height: 95px;
  margin: 7% 2% 0 8%;
}

  float: right;
  background: #307592;
  width: 40%;
  height: 95px;
  margin: 7% 8% 0 2%;
