Can't login to sites - IE policy problem?

I have applied a group policy to internet explorer but now I can't login to ebay or many other websites. eBay in particular just bounces straight back to the homepage as a guest.

What elements or settings could be responsible for this? This is currently affecting all users.

What was settings you applied in that GPO? Usually IE settings are controlled by GPO from 2 locations;
1) Internet Explorer Maintenance (User Policy>>Windows Settings>>Internet Explorer Maintenance>>Security). 2) Internet Explorer (User Policies>>Administrative Templates>>Windows Components>>Internet Explorer.

Look into those 2 areas and see if you can find any unusual settings.

I would check to make sure you haven't blocked https, and to make sure you're accepting cookies.  Of the two, I'd wager on the latter.
