Export Calendar & Contacts from previous office 365 exchange online account

We migrated an Office 365 exchange online server to another exchange server.
Now we want to export data from the previous installation.
How can we access the previous installation with outlook to export the resting data?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Have 2 Outlook profiles (set to choose during startup of Outlook).
Start Outlook with the old profile connected to the old Exchange server. Use the export function of Outlook. First run, Calendar, second run is Contacts (usually you do it in one go for the WHOLE root folder, but I assume you really only want Calendar and contacts, that's why you need to do it twice).
After it's really finished and you compared the sizes of the local PST file and the online size (since Export doesn't provide meaningful feedback, either success or failure), restart Outlook, now in the new profile.
Use the import function (no need to do it twice, since the PST file contains the Calendar AND Contacts now).
That's it, compare folder sizes again, as Import has the same lack of meaningful feedback.
