Give helpdesk user permission to logoff RDS sessions

I have 1'st level support staff, that I want to be able to logoff users on the terminal server.
The RDS servers are Windows 2012R2.

check out this article, I recently was looking for making non-admin able to shadow RDS sessions, it might apply to your need also. by changing the security on the RDP-Tcp listener was able to accomplish it. wasn't worried about other issues in the environment, but by all means so some further research on possible security issues, since obvious your not trying to make them admins.

It worked. I followed your link, and in the thread a guy made a powershell script to be used for remote control of other users.
I rewrote it, to just log off used instead.
Long story short, make a user group, give it permission with wmi command.
Use logoff command in command prompt.
