I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Have you deleted that profile from SecureCRT and added a new one?

i don't but, if the session is not open, you should also be able to change the session information.

according to what i've read, securecrt uses a default.ini file which holds the login information.

Before establishing the connection, edit the saved session and remove/replace the username entry you saved there.  Do not remember if the saved session can be used without the username, it can be saved without a password.
