ASP.Net , Telerik Controls, Update Panel issue

I have a ASP.net form with two telerik grids, one button and one dropdown.
i have applied updatepanel on button, grid and dropdown.
when i press the button to save the record i am expecting it to refresh
both the grid which currently its not doing. I need to refresh
the page every time after pressing the button.

Is there a way I can force the grids in update panels to refresh.
I am writing code in C# and using telerik controls.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are you using RAD controls of Telerik? If so then this could be the way to do this:

<telerik:RadAjaxLoadingPanel ID="RadAjaxLoadingPanel1" runat="server" Skin="WebGrey">
</telerik:RadAjaxLoadingPanel>

<telerik:RadAjaxPanel ID="RadAjaxPanel1" runat="server" LoadingPanelID="RadAjaxLoadingPanel1">
    <telerik:RadAjaxManager ID="RadAjaxManager1" runat="server">
        <AjaxSettings>
            <telerik:AjaxSetting AjaxControlID="Button1">
                <UpdatedControls>
                    <telerik:AjaxUpdatedControl ControlID="Grid1"/>
                    <telerik:AjaxUpdatedControl ControlID="Grid2"/>
                </UpdatedControls>
            </telerik:AjaxSetting>
        </AjaxSettings>
    </telerik:RadAjaxManager>

    <telerik:RadGrid ID="Grid1" runat="server">
         ...
    </telerik:RadGrid>

    <telerik:RadGrid ID="Grid2" runat="server">
         ...
    </telerik:RadGrid>

</telerik:RadAjaxPanel>

In your code, you have kept all the controls in the same RadAjaxPanel,

In my scenario both the grids are on different RadAjaxPanel. Basically they are under tabs. Please advice with different RadAjaxPanel.
