msn email - the free version

My OS is win 7 prof 64 bit and I use the msn email account - the free version.  Although I have been deleting emails that i think I will not be referring any more, but it looks like it is still staying in the msn server, and everytime i switch email softwares, all these can downloaded as well, adding to the sheer weight.
I am now using eMclient ver 6.0.22344.0 and how do I make sure that when i delete an email from or thru  this software, it is deleted forever from the server.  Prior to this, most of the time I have been using the web interface.  Thank u.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

As explained in my answer with your another question about eMclient, you cannot depend on eMclient if you want to use free MSN email.

Switch to another email client such as windows live mail will be the solution.

Details of a similar question is in the link below from the support forum of eMclient.

https://forum.emclient.com/emclient/topics/messages_deleted_in_em_client_do_not_get_deleted_off_the_outlook_com_server

No solution other than to switch to IMAP, but as you have over 10,000 emails in your free MSN, you might encounter sync problem if you switch to IMAP and if you got sync problem, it is not usable at all.

Quit to use eMclient is the only solution.

in response to Jackie Man, thank u for your suggestion, I only use  eMclient as a backup, in case if any emails falls thru the cracks but is still in eMclien.  I have already installed windows live, but have not got around using it, is there any links to a good tutorial on how to use it? Thank u.
