Tomcat 6 and OPenEmm Port Problem 8080

Hello folks,
I have worked thru several installation problems with installing Apache-Tomcat 6.0.44 and OpenEmm.
And now one remaining problem.
I am installing OpenEmm 2013 on a my local Window 7 machine for development purposes.
When I execute the OpenEmm start.bat, it finds the codebase and the database, then fires up
Apache-Tomcat 6.
I have this error towards the end of Tomcat  6 output log which I believe is the reason I do not have the
OpenEmm login page displayed in my browser after entering http://www.localhost:8080 in I.E.

I have issued the command : netstat -an | find ":8080"

and this is what I receive back:
 TCP               LISTENING

So that tells me the port is listening.

The error below from Apache-Tomcat 6.0.44 output log:
Can anyone tell me how to resolve the error ?

Jun 09, 2015 3:18:32 PM org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext start
SEVERE: Error listenerStart

Jun 09, 2015 3:18:32 PM org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext start
SEVERE: Context [/openemm-ws2] startup failed due to previous errors

Jun 09, 2015 3:18:32 PM org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationContext log

I have researched OpenEmm but have found no answers/responses...
any help appreciated...thank you

I think that openemm already starts tomcat

Yes, indeed it does and I know that , but I just wanted to verify the Tomcat 6 installation.  Trying to eliminate where the problem may be since the OpenEmm logs aren't saying much on the subject...make sense?
Normally there is catalina.out in logs directory
