Deleting folders and file names that are too long for windows file system.

Somehow I've ended up with folders and files with filenames too long for windows to use or delete.

How do I get rid of these?

\\?\D:\very long path is one way of accessing them .. normally one would rename folders upward in the directory tree to bring them down below maxpath (260 characters)

just drop powershell into command
Cmd /C "rmdir /S /Q <dir>"
