Difference between TabIndexChanged and SelectedIndexChanged?

In using a Tab Control, what is the difference between the events TabIndexChanged and SelectedIndexChanged.

When should one be used over the other?

Thanks!

The TabIndexChanged one refers to the Tab key on keyboard and fires when TabIndex property changes

TabIndexChanged is something that exists in all the controls, not only the TabControl. It fires if the program changes the tabulation order during execution, something that is rarely done.

The one you need to use to check when a new tab is selected is SelectedIndexChanged.
